What Are Spirit Days?

They let students step out of their comfort zones, being more involved with the school, can be possible promoting for students to join their SLT’s, and makes school fun and something to look forward to.

Participation Tips

How do you get more participation in your school?

Advertising can help participation by letting students know what is happening during that month. See advertising section. SLC or SLT members in your school can encourage their class to dress up. Students like to dress up for more spirit days when they have easier access to.

Christmas Bingo:

Take a fun break from class and play a game of school wide bingo!

Christmas Trivia:

An event you could take a fun break from class to do trivia.

Wreath decorating:

Each class takes turns in decorating a wreath as a team. Can include competitions, and "best decorated" prizes!

Locker Decorating, Christmas Style:

Each student brings their own supplies to decorate their locker for the month of December.

Gingerbread House Decorating:

Each class gets to decorate a gingerbread house as a team.

SLT Treat Day, Candy Canes or Christmas Oranges

Crush for crush day:

The school sells crush sodas and students can buy one for another student, then they will be delivered.
