What are the Sun West Leadership Teams responsible for?
The Youth Consultation team are the people who take charge and make change happen in the division! The members of the YC team gather voice from students in their school, and gain insight to see what really matters to students. They are the people who communicate with the Board of Education about their findings and propose what changes could be made. The members of this team are representatives of their schools and peers.
The ones in charge of the Sun West Student Leadership Conference every year are our beloved Team Sun West! They hope to inspire new leaders and spark change with this conference and encourage delegates to bring some ideas back to their own schools.
Meet The Team
The Sun West Student Leadership Team is made up of many different student leaders from across the school division. It consists of two teams: The Youth Consultation Team, and Team Sun West.
